Meet the Chef
Salt & Vinegar is LA’s newest Filipino chef-crafted delivery concept, powered by
acclaimed Chef Stacy Bareng (Chopped, CookUnity). Chef Stacy brings a rare
mix of heritage and world-class technique: raised in a Filipino immigrant family,
classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu, and a veteran of Michelin-starred LA
kitchens. She’s worked at top restaurants across California, including Cass House
Grill, Viale dei Romani (named one of Food & Wine’s biggest openings of 2018),
and Santa Monica’s Michelin-starred Mélisse. Stacy is also a former contestant on
Food Network’s Chopped and a featured chef on the celebrity meal platform
CookUnity.
Salt & Vinegar LA reimagines Filipino and pan-Asian inspired comfort food using
SoCal’s freshest ingredients. Menu highlights include lumpia, rice bowls,
sandwiches, and salads, delivered with bakery partner Bucketwhisk’s signature
ube pan de sal.
Delivery is available on Postmates, Uber Eats, and DoorDash, or for pickup from
Echo Park.
